Andrea Chakma

Andrea Chakma is a fourth year Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and newly elected Board of Director for Girl Guides of Canada. She has been the President of the Women in Engineering Undergraduate Student Committee since 2022 and is passionate about creating a safe space for current and future women in engineering students. Andrea has worked in the fields of Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Consulting and currently Product Management. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, and volunteering for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
