Celebrate Women's History Month with a special one-night performance of the international hit play Truth Values at San Francisco’s Théâtre Erick Moreau.
Truth Values is a hilarious, insightful, and uplifting show about the joys and challenges of being a woman in STEM.
A conversation follows the performance, featuring extraordinary women in STEM, including Marilyn Simons, Ph.D., Co-Chair of the Friends of the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques; Emille Lawrence, Ph.D., Professor of Mathematics, University of San Francisco, and Tatiana Toro, Ph.D., Director of the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute.
Mission
This event is part of the Truth Values Community Project, whose mission is to create a profoundly supportive community for women and underrepresented minorities in STEM through an innovative pairing of science, art, and conversation.
The project was launched via sponsorship from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

FROM THE NORTH:
If you are crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, you may be required to pay a toll.
Take CA-1 going south toward 19th Avenue.
Turn right onto Ortega Street, and the theater is on your left.FROM THE SOUTH:
Take 280 north, then merge on the left onto CA-1 toward 19th Ave, Golden Gate Bridge.
Keep left onto 19th Ave.
At Pacheco Street, turn right, then make an immediate right onto 18th St.
Turn left onto Ortega St, and the theater is on your left.FROM THE EAST:
If you are crossing the Bay Bridge, you may be required to pay a toll.
Take I-80 going west toward San Francisco.
Take the exit at 101 North toward Golden Gate Bridge, then continue onto Octavia Boulevard.
Turn left onto Fell St.
In three miles, make a U-turn at 20th Ave, then immediately turn right onto 19th Ave.
Turn right onto Ortega St, and the theater is on your left. -
The theater staff highly recommend that you hire a taxi or rideshare due to limited parking.
If taking public transport, you may ride MUNI bus line #28.
FROM THE NORTH:
Take MUNI 28 outbound to Daly City BART, stop at 19th Ave and Ortega St.FROM THE SOUTH:
Take MUNI 28 inbound to Fisherman’s Wharf, stop at 19th Ave and Ortega St.FROM THE EAST:
Take MUNI 28 inbound to Fisherman’s Wharf, stop at 19th Ave and Ortega St. Or take MUNI 48 outbound to Great Highway, stop at Quintara St and 19th Ave. -
Street parking is free but very limited along Ortega Street and on 19th and 20th Avenues. You may want to use a rideshare service, as the theater does not offer parking.
